This harvest style cocktail is made with fresh apple cider, smoky mezcal, a dash of lemon and served in a cinnamon sugar rimmed glass then garnished with fresh apple slices.

Ingredients
2ozmezcal
1/2ozapple brandy
3ozapple cider
1/2ozlemon juice
1dashAngostura bitters
Garnish
1tspground cinnamon
2Tbspgranulated sugar
cinnamon sticks
fresh thyme
appleslices
Instructions
In a shallow dish, mix together granulated sugar and cinnamon.
Using the wedge of the lemon, rim the glass to get slightly wet. Dip the edge into the cinnamon sugar mixture. Fill glass with fresh ice.
In a cocktail shaker, add mezcal, apple brandy, apple cider, lemon juice, and bitters. Fill shaker 1/2 way with ice, cover, and shake for 30 seconds.
Strain into rimmed cocktail glass with fresh ice. Garnish with cinnamon sticks, thyme, and apple slices, if desired.
