While enjoying lazy days, I decided to try my hand at making some homemade lemonade.
To be honest, like many things, I though lemonade was one that was super hard to make. Again, I was wrong. Seriously wrong. It’s the exact opposite and I jazzed mine up with some watermelon that we had in the fridge.
This lemonade was perfect for quenching my thirst on these hot summer days and even the baby enjoyed it. Also I was editing these photos today, I noticed that in one of the photos it totally looks like the ice is smiling at you. See even the ice thinks that this watermelon lemonade is wonderful.
Either that or it was just saying cheese for the camera. I’ll take either. Haha.

I tempted to plant a couple of watermelon plant this year so am on the hunt for stuff to do with them and this definitely ticks that box. They grow like crazy out here so always end up with far too much for two people to consume in a short period of time.
I think my family consumes more than our fair share of watermelons in season… you can always send them our way! =)
Such a beautiful lemonade! I love watermelon AND lemons!
Thank you, Paige!
This looks dazzling. Missing the summer months rn… they say it’ll snow in New York on Sunday, yeesh!
Yeah, they threatened that here too. Ugh… I just want winter to be over already.
This looks so refreshing!!! I need to remember to make it for a summer gathering. Will report back when I do. 😉
Yes! I love making fun things for when people come over!
Please tell me how much Stevia to use, surely it’s not 2/3 cup??? Thanks!
Yes, I used 2/3 cup. However, you can adjust to your taste.
Do you use 3/4 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice?
Either fresh or already squeezed – both will work fine.
It looks yummy to me and wish to give a go this weekend though.
