To the skies again! I landed from New York on Wednesday night, slept, packed, slept, and got up at 4:30am this morning to head to the airport again.
I’ve been to the airport 3 days in a row.
Anyway, this time I’m heading to Satellite Beach, FL to visit my brother and sister-in-law and attend their baby shower! I am so excited that they are finally having a little baby.
It’s funny because as soon as I found out I was pregnant with my last baby, I texted and told everyone in a group chat then said “Alright Jay, I’m passing the torch… it’s your turn!” haha!!
Only almost 2 years later they are finally having a little one of their own and I could not be happier or more excited for them.
So I wanted to do the thing that a good sister would do and attend their first baby shower. Honestly, I didn’t think I would get to go because of the hubby’s work schedule but he was able to take the time off.
Then this whole COVID-19 scare that’s going on right now made me almost cancel my flight. However, I’m a healthy, young individual and taking all the necessary precautions – washing my hands, using sanitizer, and trying to mot touch things or people that I do not know. So why not go?
And here I am… sitting on the plane writing this post. I still need to grab my outfit photo – which will more-than-likely be a bathroom selfie since I’m solo on this trip but whatevs.
Comfy travel gear all the way with some new Danskin leggings I scored at Costco. I topped them with a light blue tank from Target that I got last year and since I tend to get cold on the plane I threw on a cardi from TJ Maxx.
The tank will serve double duty because it’s going to be over 80 in FL when I land and have shorts to change into. I packed everything in my carry-on since I’m only going for a short weekend and plan to change as soon as I get there.
Then just slipped on my new Steve Madden sneaks and I’m good to go!
