It’s officially the first week in December and I cannot believe how this year is just flying by. There’s only 3 weeks until Christmas and I am in no shape or form ready for it yet. I still have all the gift to buy for the kiddos and the hubby.
Anyway, today I’m sharing another Amazon find with you – this purple tunic top. I’ve been doing more and more online shopping now that I have 4 kiddos. It’s just easier and more convenient for me instead of loading everyone up and heading to the mall or whatever store. I do, however, love to head out shopping when the hubby is home so I can have a little “free-time” to myself.
Amazon is just so easy and with their Prime 2-Day shipping, it’s a no brainer. However, Amazon is a different beast than your regular store because it takes lots of searching and trial and error to find good pieces. There are definitely more misses than hits with Amazon and I always make sure to save the packaging for returns. Hopefully, with my late night Amazon scrolling binges, I can take some of the headache out of it for you. Thankfully, most fashion returns are also free.
This top you see here was a win (obviously) and I am in love with the purple color. The circle hem is a nice touch also and just adds that little extra.
I used to live in my pajamas, day after day, only changing to workout. Then I would shower and change right back into pajamas again. I know, lame.
Recently I’ve been wanting to get dressed to see how it would help with productivity and just overall making me feel better. Of course, I’m not talking about fully dressed with jeans and whatnot… because I work at home and sitting at a desk in jeans all day would just be torture. So I’m starting with better leggings and cute tunic tops. Then if I get cold I’ll throw on a cardigan instead of a robe.
Hence the reason for this purchase. I didn’t have many tunic tops and this one is a great addition to my closet. It’s not super thick, but more like a thicker long-sleeve t-shirt material. Which makes it perfect for working at home, running errands, or even a cute casual shopping day.
The top comes in about 4-5 colors and I just paired it with my new favorite leggings and my favorite fuzzy boots that I bought years ago from JustFab. My jacket is also from last year but they have a super similar one from this year that I linked for you. The sweater runs true to size but you can definitely size up if you want a little looser fit.
