Day 3 in New York is a wrap! I’m writing this the next day as I totally forgot to do it last night… oops!
Yesterday was a super fun day of just walking around and checking out the Greenwich, Chelsea, and Meatpacking District Areas.
I was all by myself because the hubby has conference all day but it was fun to get out and explore even though he was not with me.
I started by taking the subway down to the flatiron building. Which was totally underwhelming because it is currently covered by scaffolding and tarps for possible renovation? So I sat in the little park there for a few minutes then hopped another subway down to Washington Square Park.
I walked around there for a few minutes taking pictures then I walked over to the “Friends” apartment. The little red building on the corner that is the Little Owl Café is so cute and stands out against a backdrop of brownstones.
After that I realized that Carrie Bradshaw’s apartment was right around the corner so I walked over there to snap a couple pics and check it out. Then walked to the Chelsea Market from there to grab some food and walk all the little shops they had. I really enjoyed the Chelsea Market and want to take the hubby back there. Maybe I’ll take him back there for lunch today?
After that I went up to the highline then headed back to the hotel to get ready for dinner.
I was out and about for around 5 hours and feel like I saw and did a bunch. I kept it street casual with a AF striped tee, ON black cardi, AE jeggings, and some Steve Madden Sneakers. I just snagged these sneakers before the trip and I love them so much! I didn’t think they would be that comfortable but they really were and my feet felt supported all day while walking around.
Alrighty, time to get ready for the day. See you either later tonight or tomorrow morning!
