Happy Wednesday from the Fort Worth Stockyards! Wednesday was another day filled with about 5 houses. After all the house shopping, we decided to head to the stockyards to walk around for a while… talk things over… and grab some dinner.
House shopping is fun but also exhausting all at the same time. When you are on a time crunch and need to find a house, you try and fit in as many as possible, and then they all start to run together.
Anyway, it was another gorgeous day in DFW and so I followed my jeans, cami, cardi formula again with my favorite jeans that I wore on the plane. They just hold their shape so well and the built in elastic waist band makes them so comfortable for a full day of walking, seeing houses, and getting in and out of cars.
The cami is my favorite ever from Express and I have it in multiple colors. These camis and their gramercy tees are the best.
My white cardi is from Old Navy again and is nice and thick and super warm. I love that it has a striped detail without actually being a different color stripe. The only thing that is missing is pockets… but then I guess the one from yesterday didn’t have pockets either.
Finally, my new fav sneakers again. I have worn these all day, every day for the past 3 days and I have not gotten any blisters… which is amazing since I just got them in the mail before we left for this trip and didn’t really have time to break them in.
Also, these socks are what I wear with them. I have to wear socks with sneakers and these don’t slip down at the heel and are actually no-show with these types of shoes. I have tried tons of no-show socks and most – even though they claim to be no-show – are not truly no-show or they slip down at the heel and the sock ends up bunched in the arch of your foot. No good. These, however, are by far are the best ones I have found so far.
