Currently sitting on a plane heading back to Fort Worth. It’s been a whirlwind 2 days with my family and my heart is so full. I love spending time with them but I just wish it could be more often.
The shower yesterday was beautiful and I am just so happy to have been a part of it. The boys took the boat out and went fishing while the girls did the shower.
I really wanted to do a beach day while I was here so we did take the boat out again this morning before I had to head to the airport. We just went to this little sandbar island not too far out and just hung out there for a couple hours.
After the boat ride we headed back to my brother’s house so I could shower and change. We said our good byes and Aunt Peg and Uncle Dale drive me back to the airport. To say I am grateful for them is an understatement.
Since my mom was sick I didn’t have a ride around anymore and they spent the whole time with me picking me up from the airport, taking me back, and everything in between. I am so happy that they are back in my lives.
Anyway, travel day means comfies again so I’m wearing the new Danskin leggings from Friday that I got at Costco. Layered it with a tank from Target and a cardi from TJ Maxx. Then threw on my new Steve Madden sneakers.
I packed everything in a carry-on since it was a short trip so I recycled my tanks, shorts, and leggings while I was there.
I had such a fun time, even though it was short, and I am just so grateful right now.
