We’re heading out to dinner with some of Stefan’s friends/co-workers from Michigan tonight. I guess she has some family here over in North Dallas so we’re gunna head over there for dinner at one of our favorite restaurants that we found so far: Mexican Sugar.
It was a recommendation from our realtor when we closed on the house. We were up in that area and had planned on doing a little furniture shopping right after closing and, of course, getting celebratory margaritas. So her and the closing agent both recommended that place and we had to check it out.
The food there is amazing and they have a margarita flight with three of their best margaritas: hibiscus, regular, and watermelon jalapeño.
My sister was in town with us the first time we went there and so I’m sure she’s going to be mad she isn’t here to go with us again. She’ll be here next month and we’ll go again then.
Anyway, since I’ve never met his friends I wanted to dress a little nicer but still kinda casual. Express gramercy tee for the win! Paired with my favorite crop jeans and my favorite bootie sandals in black.
These Qupid bootie sandals are the most comfortable pair of shoes I own. I originally found them in brown in a little boutique in Michigan and loved them so much I had to get them in black also. I don’t wear the black ones as often but I love them just as much.
Anyway, off to get the kiddos ready so we can head out in a few.
