It’s the weekend before Thanksgiving and I am getting excited for our first Thanksgiving in the new house.
This month has been kind of a whirlwind so I haven’t really even thought of what I’m going to make yet. Much less even been to the store. I’m sure I’ll do all that the night before just like everyone else. Ha!
It’s just going to be us this year, no friends or family, so I’m not going to go too crazy. We did get a couple free Turkey’s from the hubby’s work so that’s one less thing I have to buy.
Anyway, this outfit is not what I’m going to be wearing next week… its actually an outfit I wore while in Michigan a couple weeks ago. I had some urgent family matters to attend to and so I had to pack and go quickly.
However, if we were having friends or family over I would definitely wear this sweater and jean combo with slippers… haha!
I found the sweater at Costco this year and is an super soft eyelash material. It for sure kept me warm when it was snowing there and I can definitely see myself wearing it a lot this winter.
I paired it with some light wash jeans and new booties that I got before the trip. Made for the perfect cute and comfortable outfit to wear during all the meetings I had in Michigan.
