Tonight is our first annual Christmas party for the hubby’s new job! We’re even doing a white elephant type of gift exchange that will be fun. Of course, the hubbs didn’t tell me about the gifts until yesterday so I had zero time to go out and get something so I just grabbed something we already had in our little gift closet.
Yes, I have a small closet that I keep random gifts that I find throughout the year for people. It works perfectly for times like this when I have to bring something but either didn’t know, wasn’t told, or didn’t have time to go out.
Last week I met a couple of his colleagues and tonight I get to meet all of the rest of them. It might get a little overwhelming! Haha!
Anyway, I was going to originally wear a red silk shirt form Express but I got a little chilly when I walked outside so I changed into all black instead.
I got this black sweater form Wal-Mart a couple weeks back and it is just gorgeous. It’s an eyelash material so it’s super soft and has a little glitter details on the collar and wrists. Also, it was only $10!
Seriously! I could not say no at that price!
Then I wore my black jeans from Abercrombie and my black sequin booties that I got a couple years ago. I love these booties so much and wear them at any chance I can get. Christmas and New Years are a perfect excuse to wear sequin booties.
Plus, since I’m wearing all black, I need a little pop of fun in there!
